Since the 2001 release of Gotta Get Thru This - the title track from his 2002 debut album - birthday boy Daniel Bedingfield has survived a January 2004 car crash which nearly killed him; whatever he was thinking when he wrote the song, it would eventually provide an excellent anthem for him.
By the way he and his sister, Natasha, are the only siblings to ever have solo hits on the UK charts.
