Birthday wishes go out to Edie Brickell, formerly a New Bohemian and currently Mrs. Paul Simon; her second album, 1988's Shooting Rubberbands at the Stars, yielded an abundance of the kind of grace seldom present in pop music, and is a must-have for any music collection.
