She's such a great guitar player. It's a pity that she doesn't get more attention for that than for the out-sized character she portrays. Shows you how stupid people really are.
My love affair (no not THAT kind) started many years ago when she was a semi regular on the Love Boat. She did her normal shtick with lots of Cuchi-Cuchi. It drove my Dad CRAZY. He hated her and I took sadistic pleasure it pointing out whenever she was on TV, Love Boat, Fantasy Island, The Muppets and all the wonderful, for the time, variety shows.
It was many years later that I came to realize what an amazing entertainer and flamenco guitarist she was. Alas I have only purchased one of her CDs. I super lover her I'm just not a very good fan.

It's like there's never been a time when she hasn't been around, thanks to those great 70s variety shows and such. It was on one of those that I first saw her play and was blown away by it. Just like Dolly Parton, really. You look at them and think: pretty girl, big tits, not much talent. Where the truth is far removed from that.
